This SUV Of Maruti Has Now Been Launched, In CNG Option

Earlier, the Grand Vitara with the CNG powertrain was spotted testing on the Indian roads in July 2022.

Maruti has launched a CNG option on the Grand Vitara, making it the first SUV to do so. You will get the CNG kit in the mid-spec Delta and Zeta variants.

Earlier, the Grand Vitara with the CNG powertrain was spotted testing on the Indian roads in July 2022. Now it has been launched which is a matter of happiness. Because CNG is a cheaper option than other fuels. This will benefit the customers.

Maruti Suzuki has given the S-CNG tech to the Baleno and XL6 in its portfolio. The Toyota HyRyder and Glanza have also been equipped with the CNG technology. The HyRyder CNG was being talked about before the Grand Vitara.

Engine Update -

The Grand Vitara CNG will be sold with a 1.5-litre petrol-CNG engine making 88PS of power and 121.5Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual. It is claimed by Maruti to offer fuel economy of 26.6km/kg. While the Grand Vitara's Strong-Hybrid variant claims 27.97kmpl, the entry-level Zeta Plus Hybrid is almost Rs 3 lakh more expensive than the Zeta CNG.

Old Features -

You will get the same old features in the CNG of Grand Vitara which will be found in its petrol version.

The list includes automatic headlamps with full LED lighting, six airbags, a rear parking camera, nine-inch touchscreen system, cruise control, hill hold control, ambient lighting and lighting. In Zeta trim, it is probably the most feature-loaded CNG vehicle in the country.
